My journey with Maurice Ward started back in 2018, joining the team in Sofia as Air Cargo Agent, stepping back in the air freight industry after almost 10 years developing knowledge and specializing in the road freight market.

Main Activities:

  • Handled day-to-day air import and export operations.
  • Supported sales activities alongside operational responsibilities. Managed shipment documentation, data entry, and system updates.
  • Coordinated with airlines, partners, and internal teams.
  • Gained hands-on experience across airfreight processes after a long-term focus on road freight.

After another couple of years including the pandemic period, there was already a team structure established in Sofia Office, and in September 2023 I took the chance to transfer to Maurice Ward Germany, taking the position of Senior Pricing and Tender Manager.

  • Led pricing strategy, RFQs, and tender submissions for airfreight accounts.
  • Built competitive pricing structures for air export lanes.
  • Negotiated special and promotional rates with airlines and GSAs.
  • Supported sales strategy and planning for the airfreight product.
  • Managed projects and pricing-related initiatives.
  • Worked closely with Germany team and back-office teams in Frankfurt and Yerevan.

After one year spent with the Germany team and being involved in several projects, I gained really fast the trust of the whole team and last year been promoted to Sale Manager – Airfreight Product.
