My life has been and still is one heck of a roller coaster ride. With emotions and experiences ranging from the highest highs possible to the lowest lows humanly imaginable.
When I feel down, I just remind myself of what I have accomplished thus far and that only sky is the limit going forward. I didn't concede my own personal life in the harshest of times possible, so that I could live on and tell the story of the human limitations or lack-thereof.
After having quit from Honda, I was supporting the family business in any way possible, so as a next step I founded my own company ("Livas-2 Ltd.") in order to inherit the business direction established by Livas Ltd., but it didn't pan out as intended in the end. While my position as technical director was never more than a technical assistant, in fact, I still got to experience this business sphere and learn from someone with more than 20 years of experience in the field. It translated to me carrying out all the responsibilities that went along with the title.
From writing up formal e-mails to potential material suppliers (foreign) to forming up tender documentation, I did it all. And while we reaped mostly unsuccessful, I never gave up hope, nor the dream.
I managed to establish a line of communication between Chinese investors and the German company BASF for mobile phone supplies in 2018. The material in question was name "Ellastolan". A material exclusively made only by them and widely used in the process of phone isolation from water, dust or anything similar that might do harm to the hardware of the device.
After the deal was struck, I kept on looking for more similar possibilities, but they never appeared at my doorstop like this one did.
I did try out programming to see if I held some inner, unknown to me, interest and I am, and I supported a small portfolio site that I created myself for a manicurist (www.nailartioanna.com was the site, no longer active as the client moved on and was no longer interested in using it).
I then decided to make yet another U-turn and look for my own success elsewhere and the opportunity came by itself without me actively looking for it.
I was hired by B2B Media Group in October 2020. A digital marketing company operating mainly in Germany but with a global presence - from USA to South America and from recently Asia. I am responsible for keeping in line all of the banners used are up-to-date and relevant. Additionally I am responsible for the reporting aspect of the running campaign via Google. Every week I usually have to launch new campaigns via AdForm.
Whilst I am satisfied, I am open to new and different challenges. I feel like I have outgrown my position from a while. The natural flow of things has come and I am looking for the next step in my personal development.
I mostly am responsible for reporting on various campaigns how they are doing. Visualising the data and presenting it in an online PDF format in Google via Display and Video 360. Additionally every week I have to prepare campaigns with WLW being the main client. They have their own sub-clients. The main task is being responsible for the banners in the campaigns and keeping them in line or replacing what is no longer the actual with the up-do-date banner(s) that the clients desire to use. Also generating screenshots how they would look while displayed. I started with German clients mainly, but over time the business kept on growing and now I serve all over the world - from the US to Asia and South America. Dell is the main client when it comes to the screenshots part. It is a time and focus consuming job. Being diligent helps me a lot in this regard, as I do not leave any request un-dong or unattended. I always show high dedication and attention to detail, but I need a fresh challenge as I feel I've outgrown my position.
I was doing a Business Administration and it is worth noting that many of the courses do overlap with the Major in Marketing. Didn't get to finish my degree since the family business was in disarray and I had to go back and help out although I was loving every minute of my education but it was not meant to be.
