During the internship, I had the opportunity to gain detailed knowledge of the practical work involved in raising Japanese quail (Coturnix coturnix japonica) and various breeds of domestic chicken (Gallus gallus domesticus). I participated in feeding activities, including the preparation of compound feed for the experimental birds. Additionally, I was involved in the process of analyzing the productive traits of several Bulgarian chicken breeds.

Bovans LTD has two hatcheries located in two different cities. One is for incubating poultry, while the other is for waterfowl. During my internship, I had the opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge of the practical work in the hatcheries, as I was involved in every stage of the production process.
