This is the place where I can actually show a bit of personality and hope that whoever is reading this resume hasn't already lost interest. If you're that person: "Hi! Glad you stuck around this far!"
Anyway, my hobbies have always revolved around creativity. For a long time, I was quite disappointed that I wasn't more academically gifted, so I could be a more "useful" member of society, but I'm coming to realize that society needs creatives too. So, I'm not that mad about it anymore.
I'm a social introvert, whatever that means. I guess you can say I really get along with people but prefer my own company. Seeing that I spend most of my spare time in the solitude of my own home, I tend to entertain myself mainly with movies. I'm a very visually driven person, so films have always played a big role in my life.
Fun fact: I briefly worked as a costume designer on a film set once. Didn't know where to fit that in above.
I've recently picked up an interest in writing, initially intended for my own peace of mind, but to my delight, I discovered I'm quite good at it. These are the things I enjoy and would classify as hobbies, but besides that, I am capable of many things: I play the guitar; I can draw pretty well, as I've studied it for years; I'm very handy; I can ride a motorbike (badly); I enjoy health & fitness, but wouldn't classify it as a hobby.
I actually really love graphic design work, and I'm not just saying that to impress a potential employer. I enjoy the process of sitting down and getting lost in work for hours. I'll tell you what it is about it: It's that initial fear and panic when you don't know what to do or where to start, but you just bring yourself to sit down and do it, and then you don't realize how hours have passed and all these ideas have flown by. Some of them work, others don't, but they lead you to other ideas. You meet a roadblock you need to jump over, but how do you do it? You're determined to keep the aesthetic you've set up, but it has to be practical as well. People need to be able to see what you've done and understand it at a basic level. Graphic design is a creative outlet for me that is so accessible.
Anyway, I could go on and on, but I'll leave it there. Please hire me!
