Dry bulk freight operations role within the in-house Freight platform providing freight services to internal commodities platforms and third parties. Managing a proper flow of information to and between the traders, internal support functions and customers of the Freight Platform such as suppliers, ports, agents and shipping companies. Providing analytical support to the freight operations team. Coordinating the physical shipping program of long and short cargo and vessel positions. Execute the corresponding assigned Time and Voyage charters.
Liaising with vessel owners, charterers, ports, brokers, agents and vessels on a daily basis as the main point of contact for operational matters for the Freight Platform’s trading desk. Arranging in-port operations including inspections, surveys, vessel agency,bunker supply, issuance of shipping documentation and settlement of disbursements.

Appointing Weather Routing company for optimization of the route

Review, interpret and apply contract clauses to heighten Statements of Account. Actively identifying and exploiting opportunities to optimize trading desk positions.

Own an overall accountability on voyage P&L for running voyages and able to explain any variances to traders, accountants.

Analysis of the sea freight market daily monitoring of available ships and cargo. Negotiating and implementing C/P contracts for the international carriage of goods by sea in the region of Black and Mediterranean Sea, Europe, Baltic Sea, North and South America.
