Work history

Carwash Assistant

Wash & Glow
Dundee
08.2023 - 06.2024
  • Technical Services: Handled minor technical issues with carwash equipment, demonstrating an ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems efficiently. Effectively maintained and advised on some administrative tasks. Trusted by the team to deposit cheques in their business bank account.
  • Process Optimisation : Identified inefficiencies in workflow and proposed solutions to enhance productivity, demonstrating analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. For example, the car wash waiting-in room was very unorganised and untidy. Therefore, I proposed that the team and I clean it to make it more accessible to clients and more pleasant for the team during their break, which increased mood and productivity.
  • Customer Service: Interacted with diverse customers, addressing their needs and resolving complaints, which enhanced my communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Team Collaboration: Worked closely with team members to ensure smooth operation, fostering a collaborative work environment. For example, I carried out various tasks at the end of the work chain, such as drying cars, cleaning car sills, and waxing tyres.
