I am a designated music teacher in a private IB school which operates according to the international baccalaureate program. As such, transdisciplinary learning is strongly involved in the curriculum. Music classes include vocal practice, singing exercises, music production (Bandlab, Ableton Intro), music theory, musical culture, music composition (music for the moving image), acoustics, properties of sound, mathematics in music.

Teaching science and music within a private school setting, integrating interdisciplinary methodologies aligned with STEAM education standards. Providing a strong curriculum infused with creative, technological and experimental elements to aspire to emotional intelligence, critical thinking and imagination.

Responsible for teaching:

• Vocal practice; (group and individual practice)
• Music theory;
• Promotion & Employment (making a website, CV, artist bio, career planning);
• Industry practice;
• Employability skills
• Plan & organise routine team operations and ensure implementation of College policies and procedures in order to deliver high quality curriculum to students

• Facilitate learners with basic instrumental skills to work together in an ensemble (Popular music ensemble & Beginners ensemble) with a significant focus on vocals and songwriting
• Leading a choir of adults between the age of (20 to 50), teaching pop & soul repertoire with piano accompaniment and backing tracks
• Teaching a 10 weeks Logic Pro X course based on creation skills e.g
• Programming and understanding of MIDI sequencing and editing Apple Loops, audio editing, recording and sampling
• Teaching sound processing techniques such as equalisers, reverbs, compression etc
• How to use software instruments, presets and create original patches
• How to mix and master

• Providing digital support to learners and stuff (on site & remotely) for learning platforms (Microsoft Teams, Google Classroom, bksb, MathsWatch)
• Creating & editing video tutorials related to e-learning
• Reduce barriers and provide support to full participation in digital learning, enabling learners to become digitally literate

• Teaching Music for the moving image (music production & composition skills using Ableton Live Suite, Logic Pro X)
• Singing/Songwriting in English
• Music theory
• Providing recording sessions in a studio and audio post production

• Recording voice overs and jingles for toys commercials for children
• Song recordings for 'Hello English for 5th grade' textbook (Prosveta)

• Covering Science lessons in secondary schools to manage the classroom in the teacher's absence
• Invigilating students in exam conditions and ensuring that examinations are carried out in accordance to regulations, providing candidates with a positive and supportive, yet strict exam experience
