I have more than ten years of organizational and managerial experience in the field of football on an international, national and club level. I have been in charge of the organization of numerous sports and sports-related events – primarily UEFA club an national team competitions, but also futsal tournaments, charity and PR events. A particular pride of mine is the impeccable organization and execution of the 2014 Euro U-17 Tournament that took place in Bulgaria, for which the team I was part of and chaired received great praise from UEFA. I acted as UEFA Match Delegate in more than 100 games in UEFA’s most renown tournaments, namely the Champions League and Europa League, which gave me the possibility to gain a unique experience in many different sporting and cultural environments. Starting from the current 2021/2022 season I work also as UEFA Venue Director and external consultant to UEFA under Grow program supporting the strategic development of National Associations. Between 2019 and 2021 I was CEO of PFC Levski Sofia – the most popular football club in Bulgaria.
I have also successfully completed the Master Program in Sport Governance at the University of Limoges, France. The Master in European Sport Governance (MESGO) is one of the most prestigious educational programs in the world with the support of many renown universities – among them the Saint John’s University of New York, and under the umbrella of CDES (Centre de Droit et d’Economie du Sport) at University of Limoges. The amount and quality of valuable know-how I got as a result is an essential asset that I draw from on a daily basis and being an ever-hungry-for-more-knowledge person, I am constantly adding to that in the fields where there’s more or something new.
People skills is a thing I believe I have, too. I have extensive experience as a team leader, so I have indeed had the opportunity to greatly improve on a somewhat natural communication aptness and that has immensely helped in creating friendly, yet professional working environments, and has been irreplaceable when dealing with crisis management.
To deliver in a consistent manner the matches in the UEFA Club and National Teams Competitions – Champions League, Europa League, Conference League, Nations League and European Qualifiers, up to the highest possible standard.
Working with different clubs in different venues around Europe taking into account the cultural, managerial and sporting specificities.
